Join us as we paddle back in time on the Wando River to Cat Island.  As we cruise through the salt marsh at low tide, be on the lookout for wading birds searching for their lunch along the mudflats and the occasional Bottlenose Dolphin.  Spend an hour beach combing and relaxing on island before paddling back upriver with the tide.  Departs from Paradise Island Boat Landing.  Not suitable for first time kayakers.

Blackwater Excursions

Wambaw River

Located in the Francis Marion National Forest, the Wambaw River is a guide favorite.   The river is a shady respite in the hot summer months and protected and warm during winter - we think it's pretty close to perfect!  The Francis Marion boats numerous bird species amongst other wildlife.  We will meet in McClellanville and shuttle to our departure point at Still Landing. No experience necessary.

Duration: 4 hours           Price: $85 per person.
