Experience the Lowcountry the Way It Was Meant to Be Seen

This is the tour that defines Tideline.

Our Salt Marsh & Dolphin Ecotour is a nature-led journey through the winding tidal creeks behind Folly Beach, guided by a marine biologist or trained naturalist.

As we cruise toward Morris Island, you’ll look for dolphins, birds, and learn how the salt marsh functions as the engine of the Lowcountry. Every tour is shaped by the day’s conditions — tide, wind, wildlife activity — which means no two trips are ever the same.

What Makes This An Ecotour

This isn’t just a boat ride with narration.

It’s a guided experience rooted in storytelling, ecology, & observation. Our captains interpret the marsh in real time — answering questions, reading the environment, and customizing the trip to the interest of our guests.

Morris Island Exploration (As Nature Allows)

Weather, tide, and conditions permitting, we’ll spend approximately 20–40 minutes on Morris Island, home to the iconic Morris Island Lighthouse.

Your guide stays on island for an optional beach walk (tide/conditions permitting) or you are free to explore on your own. When you return to the boat, your guide will be excited to answer questions, identify beach finds, and dive deeper on whatever piques your interest!
