Cat Island and Shark Tooth Kayaking Excursion

Paddle down the scenic Wando River!

On this three-hour kayak trip, we travel back in time while paddling down the scenic Wando River. As we cruise through the salt marsh at low tide. Be on the lookout for wading birds searching for their lunch along the mudflats and the occasional bottlenose dolphin that greets us on the way to Cat Island.

Once on the island, we eat a snack and relax on the beach before searching for shark teeth and other fossils that often wash up here. It’s a fun activity to do as a group! After exploring, the tide brings us back up the river to the boat landing.

We love this Cat Island kayaking trip but suggest that it may not be suitable for first-time kayakers.
